Flower Still Life Mono Print


Students learned how to create contour drawings on a gelatin plate. After the students completed the drawing, they printed the image onto a piece of paper.

Gouache Painted Flowers


Students learned the colors of the rainbow and how to create a flower composition using the medium gouache.

Grey Scale Fruit Painting

Students learned how to create a grey scale painting in acrylic. Students predominantly focused on developing an understanding of highlights and shadows.


Pumpkin Still Life With Charcoal
Students learned how to draw a pumpkin with charcoal. Students predominantly focused on developing an understanding of turning a three dimensional object into two dimensions.


Acorn Still Life White Colored Pencil on Black Paper
Students learned how to draw an acorn with a white colored pencil on black paper. Students predominantly focused on developing an understanding of highlights.


Pumpkin Gouache
Painting
Students learned how to paint two pumpkins based on a photograph with gouache. Students predominantly focused on developing an understanding of color theory.



Tree Acrylic Painting
Students learned how to paint trees from the base up with acrylic paint. Students predominantly focused on developing an understanding of pointillism.



Hot Chocolate Gouache Paintings


Students learned how to draw an image based on a reference photo by using gridded lines. After the students completed the drawing, they used Gouache to add color

Still Life Bunny Colored Pencil Drawings

Students learned about proportions. By using measuring sticks, students sketched their designed on paper and added color using colored pencils.
