While collaborating with emerging professional, Anne Comer, we constructed historical podcasts regarding footways in America from the 20th century to present day.
The project was funded through the National Endowments for the Humanities CARES Act working on the history of footways in historic Catoctin Furnace. I listened to and scripted oral history interviews recorded in the 1970’s with precious information on footways, history, myths and life ways in the Catoctin Furnace region.
I gained many skills during this project. The most important was learning how to utilize Audacity for audio editing and podcast creation.
